John Leasil Brasher

This man was my 5 times great grandfather, I have learned so much about him in the last 48 hours then I ever thought possible. This man who crossed the plains and left his very wealthy mother behind on her Kentucky plantation to become a Mormon man. I recently started emailing one of his great granddaughter's. Her mother is still alive and while she was not alive when John was, She remembers the stories that were told and has letters from John to his mother back home in Kentucky. I cant wait to delve further into this mans life. Without him and so many others I would not be here tonight typing this about him and his life!!
